Tutorial to configure VLC on Smart TVs and Android devices

Step 1: On your home screen, find the “Google Play Store” and click it with the remote control

How to configure VLC on smart TVs?

Step 1: Before downloading and installing, turn on allow unknown sources in Settings

Note: this is very important, if you refuse, you must allow this operation, then you will have to remove the downloader and reinstall it, so make sure the highlight allows.

Step 6: Then enter the URL of the download and click Install

Step 8: Select the appropriate VLC version and click Install

Step 9: Open VLC, enter M3U link, add IPTV playlist

How to Add IPTV playlists on VLC?

Step 1: Open the VLC media player

Step 2: Click on “Media” in the top left corner and select Open “Location from ClipBoard

Step 3: Open URL Enter the M3U playlist to Play, then click “Play” to start playing

Step 4: After the URL of the M3U IPTV playlist, VLC will automatically play the first IPTV channel in the list. If you want to switch to another channel, you can click “View” on the top bar and then click “Playlist”. You can see the IPTV channel list on the interface, and double-click to play.

Note: You can enter the M3U IPTV link representing a single channel to “Open from clipboard location” for streaming. Alternatively, you can click on the top and select “Open Network Flow” to enter the IPTV playlist URL.
