Puffer TV was developed by Standford University and lets you stream content on your web browser. It was primarily developed to watch free local channels online and is similar to USTVGO and VUit. So, it is a completely free provider, and you can use it without a subscription. You can stream channels that are affiliated with big channel networks like NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS, Fox, and CW networks. It is a service and you cannot find the Puffer TV app. It works very well on various browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Opera browsers on an Android phone or tablet, or Windows PC.
Is IPTV Legal without VPN?
You can only stream Puffer Live TV on preferred web browsers in the US. If you want to stream it on some other browser from a different location, you need to use a VPN. You can use it to hide your IP address. It will help you bypass geo-restrictions and stream IPTV from wherever you want. It even prevents the internet throttling by your ISP. Use a VPN like Private VPN or Avast VPN to ensure better security for your IP address.

Our Opinion
Though the Puffer TV can be streamed only on a web browser, you can stream it on an iPad or iPhone, or Mac Safari Browser. It is still a research project of the computer science students from Standford, which only works in the US. As a free IPTV provider, it does offer lots of premium channels. You can also try other IPTV Service Providers like Dozenz IPTV and Falcon IPTV.
